Traffic was diverted from Middle Road in Southampton after an accident this morning.

The crash happened near the junction of Lighthouse Road and Middle Road shortly before 8.45am.

Details were limited this morning, although at 9.30am police confirmed diversions were no longer in place.

A spokesman said: “Inquiries continue regarding the circumstances of this collision and a further update is anticipated in due course.”
