DRIVE FOR CHANGE LAUNCH

Drive for Change is a six month road safety campaign run by The Royal Gazette. The campaign advocates for the implementation of non-selective roadside sobriety testing, effective speed camera technology and a mandatory graduated licensing programme in Bermuda while raising awareness of issues surrounding road safety. Drive For Change, which has officially partnered with the team at A Piece of the Rock, invites the community to become part of the movement to reduce the risks associated with accessing our public roads.

The campaign objectives are supported by the Bermuda Police Service, the Bermuda Road Safety Council, anti-alcohol abuse charity Cada, emergency doctors and EMTs at the Bermuda Hospitals Board. The targets have also been supported by Dr Joseph Froncioni, an orthopaedic surgeon and road safety expert, who is also a former chairman of the BRSC.
