A driver escaped injury after a car overturned and landed on the waterside off Harbour Road.

The car hit a wall and sustained serious damage in the incident at about 11am in Paget.

A police spokesman said: “Please be advised a black car has overturned and is sitting on the bank in the water’s off of Harbour Road in Paget.

“The occupants are no longer in the car and do not appear to have any visual signs of serious injury.

“Please be advised there will be traffic diversions in the area whist the scene is being processed.”
