Two people are believed injured after a collision this morning near the Paget traffic lights, while a police vehicle later had to be extricated from a hedge after a crash in St George’s.
A police spokesman said that officers had responded at 7.45am to the collision reported at the junction of Middle Road and South Road, Paget, where traffic was temporarily diverted.
He added that “initial information suggests that a motorcycle was involved and that two people were hurt”.
Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Meanwhile, at about 11.15am, a police Land Cruiser reportedly crashed into a hedge along St David’s Road in St George’s.
No other vehicle was involved, and a tow truck subsequently helped to remove the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
