A motorcyclist who crashed into another rider and injured him has admitted causing grievous bodily harm and drink-driving.
Lovintz Tota, 34, crashed into Richard Lees bike on North Shore Road in Hamilton Parish.
Mr Lee was treated in hospital for fractures to his foot and left ring finger and cuts to his left hand, Magistrates Court heard.
Tota, from Devonshire, who was also treated in hospital for a hand injury, told police at the crash scene: Ive had two Heinekens.
A later blood test revealed he had 109 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80mg/100ml.
The incident happened on April 21 last year.
Tota asked to be referred to the DUI Court.
Senior magistrate Juan Wolffe released him on $500 bail and ordered him attend DUI Court on October 22.
He also banned Tota from driving until further instruction from the court.
