A motorcyclist suffered a hip injury after crashing with a car in the early hours of yesterday.

The victim, a 40-year-old Hamilton Parish man, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment, and was later arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.

He was placed on police bail pending further medical care.

The Bermuda Police Service said the bike was travelling east along North Shore Road, near the junction with Coney Island Road in Hamilton Parish, at about 1.40am. It collided with a car being driven in the opposite direction.
