Two motorcyclists were injured yesterday morning after a collision in Pembroke.

A police spokesman said it appeared one rider, believed to be a 20-year-old Pembroke man, was travelling west on Parsons Road in Pembroke while the other motorcyclist, said to be a 24-year-old Pembroke man, was exiting Two Way Mews on to Parsons Road when their bikes were in collision.

Both riders were hurt, with one suffering a leg injury, and were taken to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The police spokesman said the men’s injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the crash, which happened at about 9am.
