A taxi driver was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after crashing into a wall.

The 68-year-old man of Sandys struck the wall near Five Star Island, Middle Road, Southampton, yesterday, at about 11.30pm.

He did not have any injuries, but the crash caused damage to the vehicle and the wall.
