Two men were banned from the roads for 18 months after they admitted drink-driving yesterday.

Magistrates’ Court heard Rohan Simons, 41, of Warwick, was arrested and charged after a crash on Somerset Road on December 21.

A breath test showed Simons had 284 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, more than three times the legal limit of 80 milligrams.

Tremayne Bean, 24, of Paget, was stopped by police on South Road, Paget, on October 20.

A breath test showed that he had 87 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.

Magistrate Maxanne Anderson fined both men $1,200 in addition to the driving ban.
