Police are hunting a second motorcyclist who was riding with a 21-year-old man when he was killed in a crash.

Officers believe the second rider was probably present for the incident that claimed the life of Antoine Seaman in Sandys yesterday.

And they reissued their call for witnesses who can share details on the last movements of Mr Seaman, from late on Sunday evening.

The crash happened on Somerset Road, near the junction with Wilson Place, at about 1.50am.

A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said: “Inquiries have confirmed that a second motorcyclist was riding with Mr Seaman and would likely have been present at the time of the fatal collision.

“The rider of that motorcycle — as well as members of the public with relevant information — are urged to call Sergeant Dorian Astwood on 247-1009 or 717-0849 at the earliest opportunity.”

• A motorcyclist hurt in a crash with a car on North Shore Road, Devonshire, at 7.55am yesterday, is now in a stable condition on a general ward at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

The car driver, a 29-year-old Warwick woman, was not hurt.
