A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after crashing his vehicle in Southampton.

The 41-year-old man, from St George’s, was injured in the incident on South Road, near the junction with Eastdale Lane, on Saturday at about 12.30am.

Police said he was recovering in a stable condition on a general ward at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital today.

A 39-year-old Hamilton Parish man injured after crashing his motorcycle into a wooden fence on North Shore Road, Smith’s, last night, was also said to be recovering in a stable condition on a general ward today.

Meanwhile a 44-year-old Sandys man injured when his motorcycle collided with a car on Front Street yesterday evening has now been treated and discharged from hospital.

An 18-year-old Sandys man injured when his motorcycle collided with a car on Middle Road, Southampton, on Saturday, has also been treated and discharged from hospital.
