A 63-year-old man injured when a boat crashed with the Spirit of Bermuda has been released from hospital.

The victim, from Warwick, was a passenger on a smaller boat which collided with the sail training vessel in Hamilton Harbour on Friday evening.

Police say he was treated at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital but has now been discharged.

No other injuries were reported, and damage to both vessels is not believed to be significant.

Meanwhile, two motorcyclists injured in a crash on South Road, Paget, in the early hours of Saturday, are continuing to recover in hospital.

The victims, a 61-year-old Hamilton Parish man and a 28-year-old Hamilton Parish woman, are in a stable condition on a general ward.

Witnesses to either of the incidents should call police on 295-0011.
